A water sport is a form of recreation where water is an essential aspect of the activity.

CCA clubs such as Canoe Polo and Dragon Boat are aggressive and tough team sports. It requires a high level of teamwork, endurance and discipline in order to perform, excel and win. Therefore, if you are planning to join either one of the clubs you must be prepared to fork out a large amount of time, commitment, strength, endurance and dedication to it.

Success does not come easy, especially in Canoe Polo. You might be training hard for three years, just waiting to compete and win an IVP Gold medal for Singapore Polytechnic in Year 3. After that, your Canoe Polo seasons are effectively over. However, it is during this period of constant gruelling training that a Canoe Polo player learns about a lot of things. Things that will affect their actions and thinking in the real life.
